Meal Plan: Transition Meal Plan
From Stage 1 Smooth purees to Stage 2 Textured purees, 12-day Cycle Menu
Your little one is ready to go to the next Stage of their solids journey - textured purees. This plan alternates Stage 1 and 2 with fingerfood suggestions, especially with Stage 1 meals to introduce textures. We also add some Stage 1 veg/ fruit purees to make the Stage 2 meals more acceptable - with regards to texture and flavour. On these days, you will give a meal in two consecutive days with purees split in half as indicated on the plan.
We make suggestions for finger foods and/or add-ons to encourage play & feel as well as continue or introduce allergens. Fingerfoods are completely optional and can be given with one meal a day, none or all. This is also a good time to give your baby a spoon to manage themselves (yes, it is messy!)
** You must be with your child at all times when a fingerfood is given. ** If your baby gags - calmly encourage to cough and only continue feeding once he/she is comfortable again.

Some babies eat less in the afternoons, therefore if you have a more hungry/ awake baby earlier, exchange the protein or more textured combo's for that time of the day. If you have left-over foodies, please read our storage and serving suggestions.
Exposures to allergens have been found to decrease allergies and sensitivity to foods. It is best to give it early in the day to monitor your baby’s reaction and tolerance. If you followed our earlier meal plans your baby has had exposure to all the allergens in our products. If you introduce a new allergen, always give it early in the day to monitor tolerance.
This plan is for 12-days but can be repeated as many times as required, until your little one accepts texture without hesistation. This plan is also appropriate during times of decreased appetite when teething or ill. .
The food is produced in a kitchen where exposure to allergens such as fish, wheat, cow’s milk and nuts/seeds may occur.
